This looks to be a potentially great app. But I experienced 3 big issues. 1. I wanted it to remove an always shown notification by a the Phone app, without hiding other notifications. It didn't work for that. 2. Immediately upon running, it accesses the internet, before you can turn off telemetry. 3. It's a trial version. That critical detail is at the very bottom of the app description, and not in the title or at the top of description.

I've been wading through notification managers on Google Play for hours looking for exactly this. My chief use: I have an app that monitors several devices and sends a notification when any of those devices does something. And while the text of each device's notification is different, the sound and the action taken by my app is the same. FilterBox lets me intercept the notification from my app, looks at the accompanying text, and for each different text lets me replace the app's default sound with one of my choosing., FilterBox is straightforward to use once you get used to it, but It really needs a good tutorial. And when I first installed I managed to put it into a loop that sucked up all my phone's memory. I deleted it, installed it again, and it now works well. I know of not other app that provides this level of differentiation.

The UI is very nice, and for the most part the notifications are filtered correctly. However, without the force mute feature, some notifs aren't muted even when filtered off of the notif bar. Then when you turn on force mute, it has a hard time muting notifs w/o muting EVERYTHING. Keyboard key press, youtube, even the sound being sent to my car through USB or BT is muted for about 5 seconds at a time. I'd also like to see a timed batching feature like Daywise. Much easier to keep up with notifs.
