Can't open the app on mobile 80% of the time. downloaded a few episodes for my flight on both this phone and my for tablet. Everything downloaded fast and great on both. Confirmed they were working right on both and shut off my tablet and closed the app on my phone to save battery. After takeoff turned the tablet on to watch and found out it MUST have connection to open the app. Got the same error on my phone. What is the point of downloading if I can't open the app without connection.

I love the content on Paramount+ but the app is almost unusable. Very often the app stalls on start-up. The only way to get it working again is to clear the storage and cache, and that blows away my downloads. When trying to watch downloaded episodes on a flight, the app crashed immediately with an error message -- which defeats the entire purpose for downloading episodes ahead of time. Really wish they would make this app work better. It's never been great, but now it's awful.

The shows are pretty much the only thing that saves the app. The show will "get stuck" for a second at least every 10 minutes of watching. The 10 sec button doesn't work right, back or forward. Shows don't pause if you get a call. There's no good organization for shows to find new ones. (Update) Months later and now I can't even get into the app. Save your money.
