The app is working great so far, although sometimes it needs to be synced manually in line with my other devices. As for the content: If you're going for certifications, these videos alone will leave you woefully underprepared for exams. But they're definitely a great introduction. Also, an option to link to the practice labs through the app would be fantastic -- I use RDP from my device regularly, so I would have thought integrating this function into the app to access the Microsoft practice labs wouldn't be too big of an issue.
Used this to study for ccna the couse with Jeremy. I have to say this is by far the best lessons I've received.
Although you can download the videos, the quiz material etc needs to be online to work. Makes the training on the train (heh) hard to do with all the tunnels and cellular dead spots.
CBT Nuggets definitely beats out any sort of free online video training you can get. The videos are direct and to the point, the illustrations are done such that you can easily follow the instructor, and there is so much content that if you're diligent you can easily walk away with a solid understanding of IT and Computer Science. Solid 5/5.
I use this app to watch videos on my lunch and can not recall a time when it has ever crashed. I haven't played with all the extra features of the app. I would recommend it if you have a test coming up and 10 mins of downtime here and there.
App does exactly what it says on the tin, and the service is one of the best for self learning - my company bought me two months worth and I've kept paying for it ever since its that useful
- Fixed — We made enhancements to speed up the app and fixed some bugs.
