The game overall is fun but a couple things hold it back. 1st. The show grading system doesn't seem to work as it should. Many times I've have a sold out show with higher star ratings on my matches than others but they still somehow out grade me. 2nd. The lack of built in variety makes for tedious calendar years, especially early in game. You need to play through a year to earn enough money to buy one or two segments max and it can be quite monotonous.

Not a bad game by any measures; you get exactly as advertised. Really reminiscent of the ol' "Champions of the Galaxy" card game, but it lacks as much depth & storytelling. Great wrestler diversity but the actual gameplay is a bit lacking in comparison and there's the challenge to get a decent roster/ratings early on; yes, it's simulatory, but sometimes too much... lacks a lot of interactivity for what could be a phenomenal game. Interface is a little awkward, but not too difficult to learn.

I really liked this game, and that is from someone who generally dislikes simulation games-I'm totally hooked on it. I love the flavor and feel it really catches the theme well-I even find myself becoming a fan of some of the wrestlers! It misses a star for one important reason, the clarity of the system is very lacking-after playing a week I am not sure how I am affecting the rating and stat gain system with my booking choices. I simply don't know if I am doing things wrong or right-there's nothing to tell if you're doing good or bad, or real tips on how to improve. If the game could improve, it would be to have better in-game feedback on how your decisions are affecting your matches. Some people might like mechanical ambiguity, but most of us want to feel some sense of progression.
