About this app

MobiCascais by Ubirider is the application that combines all means of mobility available in Cascais in a single, simple and intuitive platform. This application aims to improve the experience and service to users in planning, booking and paying for services necessary for their travels and allows residents, workers and students of the municipality to benefit from the advantages offered by the Viver Cascais card.
With the new MobiCascais it is possible to:
> Make the planning, pre-trip payment and validation of dematerialized transport tickets, as well as obtain travel guidance;
> Define favorite routes to simplify the use;
> Be informed of disturbances that affect scheduled routes;
> Top up the Viver Cascais or Navegante card and purchase tickets on the Cascais municipal transport network;
> Park in the municipality of Cascais and make the respective payment;
> Locate the bus stops and consult the respective timetables;
> Make use of benefits for residents, workers and students (free municipal transport and 30 m of free parking per day);
> Track the location of the bus on the map in real time;

I love this app but there are some problems: - You can't see the time your bus stops when you're in "directions" - I have encountered some buses that don't come at all, even when the app say it, this was the case for the M21 and M36 witch didn't come, although waiting 10 minutes I hope to see these fixed and I would love to go on more mobicascais buses (I think they are very fast and the drivers are nice) but they are very unreliable, as explained in point 2. Thanks in advance.

Since the update I can no longer select the bus stops and see the buses in real-time. I relied on the live location of the buses to decide whether it was worth waiting or just walking down to catch the train. Now that feature has gone the app is pretty much useless to me. Also, the requirement for a MyCascais account doesn't make sense as it requires a NIF number which people visiting from outside of Portugal don't have.

Very good innitiative and idea but frankly the app does not function well. Everything is a struggle on this app, to start the parking, to end it, to get the parking to show up on the map. If you're lucky you will manage to get your parking in 15mins struggling on the app but without the assurance the end parking button will work when you want it to.
