About this game

ESERO SpaceTroopers is the educational application to initiate boys and girls from 6 to 8 years old in space exploration developed by ESERO Spain, the delegation in Spain of the Office of Educational Resources of the European Space Agency.

ESERO SpaceTroopers is a game to train future space adventurers, with more than 70 interactive activities that will help students improve their STEAM knowledge and skills from an early age. The App takes advantage of the fascination that the little ones feel for the space to improve their knowledge and skills to promote a positive perception of science, technology and innovation from the first years of Primary in topics related to STEAM.

Build your own moon camp!

The objective of the game is to build your own lunar camp to survive on the moon. To get the necessary elements for their camp, students must complete short educational itineraries that serve to expand their spatial knowledge. For each completed mission, the student will receive a badge and a new item to add to their lunar camp.

What will they learn?

▶ The Earth from space: In this mission, students will learn to observe the Earth and its surroundings, how we see the Earth from space, the use of satellites for weather and climate, and to understand the consequences of climate change.

▶ Looking at the sky: in this itinerary, students will find games about the planets of the Solar System and other more distant ones (exoplanets) and to understand what conditions must be given on these planets so that we can find life on them.

▶ How to prepare a space trip: This mission includes activities with which students will learn how spaceships and rockets are built, the materials used for their manufacture as well as their characteristics, and we will teach them how to train and feed astronauts before embarking on a space mission.

▶ Exploring space. In this mission the students will learn what it takes to live in space, what life is like on the International Space Station, they will discover how we can make the Moon an inhabited satellite and what elements and conditions are necessary to survive there

ESERO SpaceTroopers is specially designed for use among 1st and 2nd Primary students, with the aim of promoting scientific vocations for studies and careers related to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEAM), and raising awareness about the importance of the program European space for today's society and for the economy.
