A good chat app! Does a good job, not perfect, but it's not bad at all. It does a good job of collecting and sending messages.
Works well Not perfect but works well where it counts. I love that trillian works cross platform and on all of my devices. I am frequently signed in to several chat networks on a few different devices at the same time. I also love the new dark theme since I mostly chat on mobile at night. One silly complaint I have about the latest version is that they got rid of all the smileys/icons that were super cheesy but I loved using them. Bring them back! (Or make it an option)
glitches but best multi service client my contact list isnt always accurate, it says people are online when they arent, messages get lost in cyber space somewhere, and i have lag waiting for my msgs to actually show up for the other person. but that daid its the best multi service client out there even with the glitches
Rolled back to ver 22.214.171.124 Lifetime pro... Still the IM client I use on all devices so as to have centralized logging. Glad there is a dark theme for IM clients. However in new versions it's really annoying that the onscreen keyboard hides after each message send. Also when talking with many at once, it's time consuming to switch conversations. Miss the tabbed layout.
Still the reigning champ of multi-protocol Instant Messaging. I started out using Trillian when it was still a fledgling. I was a donator before they went for-pay. I left during the Astra era for various reasons. GAIM/Pidgin was okay but too minimal and lacking in basic things I wanted. Digsby showed promise, but the dev team got bought and Digsby died. Having come back to Trillian, I can say they've really done well, polished things up. Trillian is a great IM client, and the sync between device platforms makes it that much better. I can't ask for much more really.
Keep growing Just the app we need. But imo. still needs to link with msn messenger, video sharing and being able to see at what time a specific message was sent.
