Unfortunately this app is so rudimentary and not very adjustable. As much as I try, my right garage door can stay open all night without me getting notified! On the positive side, I can open and close garage doors remotely which is cool
It's a good app. The push notifications do no tell you if the garage door successfully opened or closed, it's just a telltale that you initiated the open/close request. Push notificatios were instant then not and as of last update are instant once again. To determine if the door successfully closed, you have to look at the door icon to see if it states "open" or "closed". The multiple notifications for one depress of the button has been fixed thanks to the app update. The opener itself doesn't pair with a 2010 Infiniti (a $65 repeater or a $24.99 unit is sold separately). Last but not least the motor makes a low whine noise during open/close operation.
I love having the app in my phone to open my garage door. It lets me know when the garage door us open, especially when I drive away with it open. If I have a delivery I can open and close when necessary. It's wonderful!!! Thanks...
Absolutely insecure. Door regularly opens by itself. This is a common problem and cant solve it no matter what is tried. Reinstalling the app is not a good option.
Needs to integrate with Alexa, Google home, and Smartthings. Also need rules to alert if garage door is open past a certain time of day. I want to know if I forgot to close it and it's still open at 10:00 PM. Add some integration into the popular home automation systems. The only ones they do integrate into are ones no one uses. Need to join with the big guys like Apple, Samsung, Google.
It's getting better. I like that it finally has the option for smaller icons to fit multiple devices on the screen at once. It still can be slow to load at times, but has been better.
Close, Open, get Notified or simply Check if your garage door is open or closed.
