I was able to install and operate the myQ app with no problems. It seems to work as advertised, but there is sometimes a delay of a few minutes for open/close notifications. This could just be delays in the texting services. The video is very good, and I am considering subscribing to the 7 day video storage. I just noticed the video time stamp is 5 hours ahead of standard time, so I will need to look into that.

The app makes me not want the equipment. When trying to load the camera, it will force close. Took the technician about 45 mins to get the camera to connect even with 4 bars on the WiFi. Had to trade the camera to WiFi and it refuses to connect, even after resetting it, still with 4 bars. The notifications don't always show when the door has been opened. It's a bit of a mess, really.

It works, but not well. The device came with our new home. Not my first choice. Doesn't seem to integrate well to Google assistant or IFTTT (at least not free), and when you use the app to open the door there is a noticeable delay. When you want to close the delay is FAR worse. It waits, thinks about it. Then finally starts flashing the lights, then it's about 7 to 10 seconds before the door starts to move. Even then, It may stop or reverse. Yes my wifi signal is strong. Get Garadget.
