It's a decent app, but on 9/15/23, Chase is doing away with text alerts. This app doesn't have the capability to create alerts directly on the phone, so if something nasty is happening to my checking account (like a hack a few years ago), I won't know about it until I check email. You need to fix this ASAP! The app needs its own alerts, independent of email. If amateurs like Discover can make their app do this, you can too.

App is one of the better bank apps but that's a pretty low bar. Wish it had some of the true integrated features that is advertise, most important being scheduling a call back for customer service. When wait times are 1 hr. + and there's no call back option on the customer service line, setting up in app call backs for basic requests that don't require 1-2 weeks would be huge. Also, credit journey allowing real time disputes; chase rewards being contained in the app and navigate-able.

I thought pop up windows were a thing of the past l. I was very wrong. I get pop ups multiple times a week from inside the chase app. For app updates for paperless requests, for other chase services. This is so frustrating as some are hard to dismiss and sometimes make default selections you do not want. I'm beginning to hate this app.
