No external accounts.. After calling tech support they say it is impossible for me to make a payment with the app using my " external" accounts. So you can only make payments if you are paying from a chase account. Enable the ability to pay your bill just as easily as the actual website and you will have a better application..
User friendly app, easy to use. I do however wish it would better explain card usage and statements balance vs current balance. If I dont select pay statement balance when paying and use another amount, it doesn't adjust to what the new statement balance is. It would be nice to at least know how much I owe on my statement if I pay in smaller sums, not one large sum. I'm 25 so keep that millennial age in mind ;)
Great app I use it all the time and it's easy to transfer money within your accounts or to other accounts and it takes less than a second for the money to arrive. The only issue would be occasionally chase itself is down for a few hours or a few days at the most but it doesn't happen often and that's chase not the app. I've used this for 5 years and it doesn't take up much space on your phone either. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
It's more like a shortcut to a mobile web page than a standalone app. Navy Fed has a much better grasp of app software and user friendliness along with making routine checks and transfers much simpler. If any developers for Chase would take a peak over at that app and make some notes to apply to this one, it'd be a great step in the right direction. New bug, it won't save the setting to use your fingerprint to sign in. Just not the best banking app I've used by far.
Works great for mobile deposits except when it doesn't. I have certain checks that require me to take a picture with very specific lighting to be accepted. I tried taking pictures of my check on different backgrounds in different lighting for about 10 times before it worked. Considering the quality of phone cameras these days, this is unacceptable. On top of that, I needed to re-enter the amount each time rather than just take new photos. Bas user experience. I hope this improves because USUALLY, it's fine and I love Chase!
After the first time I used it, it was very simple to use. The only addition I would make is being able to click on each transaction and access information on that transaction. I love that you can make deposits without going to the bank and transfer money from one account to another or to someone else. I don't have my own transportation so I can do most things at home. Thank you!
Secure, safe and accurate and has operated meticulously since using it for nearly 2 years. The features are many. Seamless integration with Samsung pay and other NFC exchanges. Highly recommend. It can only be as secure as the user and equipment. Update you mobile operating system, use a device that is compatible with the latest security features such as retina and other biometrics, plus mutlistep authentication. A few extra steps that beats standing in any line just to deposit paper.
