Samsung Galaxy s II:Epic Touch 4G Very Useful, I Get to deposit checks via Online Banking, How cool & view my balance on account while I'm on the go. The only downfall is the fact that the application crash at times.
To my knowledge, Chase was the first to introduce the deposit checks by smartphone app. Although now other banks like my other bank, sets more amount limits than Chase. I would have to deposit in my external account then transfer to my Chase acct. No big deal! But when I did that l noticed a 12 dollar service fee. Not sure if that's related to my large amount deposit or another issue. Am looking into it! ! Overall, app does the job of convenience.
The app is pretty lightweight and easy to use, but I have a couple issues. On my galaxy s7 the fingerprint login doesn't actually log me in. It unlocks the app, then I have to login manually. What the heck is the point? Also, when I've already made a payment on this billing cycle, it doesn't make it clear right away that this is the case. Sometimes, I get drunk and pay bills and forget. I'd like to not have to make two clicks to see that I've already paid this month. Otherwise, I have no complaints. Edit. Updated rating. Fixed the fingerprint issue.
So easy to deposit checks now. The only thing it doesn't do is give me cash from my phone. I've also been using Chase online banking to pay bills since 1997 and have never ever had a problem. Why people still write checks in the 21st century is beyond comprehension.
I have checking, savings, and credit card accounts all accessible through this app. I can control all and have them interact with each other. It's really helpful to get everything done with one click! **UPDATE** Chase had a period of time wherein you could check on your balance without fully logging in. It really saved time and was so convenient! It would be wonderful to see it return! Now they've decided to put advertisements throughout your using this app. It's taking longer to load. Citibank's app shows upfront balance info without signing in, and no advertisements! Get with it, Chase!
Great and convenient. Love the instant transfer between accounts. The only thing I wish it had was the lock feature like capital one has in their credit cards. Gives you a piece of mind knowing your card is locked and no one can use it until you login and unlock it. This feature is a MUST HAVE!!!. My wife has had fraudulent charges (somehow) twice. The lock would've prevented it.
I like the iOS version better. I switched to Android at the end of last year, and since then I've been hoping that they'd add the feature to check balances without logging in like with iOS. Ability to login via fingerprint reader? Non-existent. Why?? Also, I don't get push notifications anymore. I'm not sure if this is just an issue with how my phone (Huawei Hero 8) handles push notifications, but according to all of my settings I should be receiving them. Overall, though, it's easy to use and bank via the app. Convenient.
Minor bug fixes and improvements
Tap and pay with your phone, get instant notifications, and lock your cards.
