chatnels provides a new way for customers to connect with business front desks using direct access chat lines. Similar to phone lines, direct access chat lines allow customers to directly connect to initiate private chat conversations with specific line members. The auto-attendant bot on each line provides customers with quick answers to common questions, and directs chat conversations to deliver fast and efficient customer communications.
Each chatnels channel is a communications hub with a wall for broadcasting updates and one or more chat lines for messaging. A channel can be set as Public, Unlisted, or Members-Only. • Public channels can be found by anyone. • Unlisted channels are accessible to those with the channel URL link. • Members-Only channels are limited to invited members.
Only the channel admin can add or remove channel members, add chat lines, and edit channel settings. Only members of the channel can post and link social feeds to the channel wall.
