Downgraded. Widget not working! Other than that, it is a solid news app. No nonsense Hollywood news clogging up the alerts. Very well laid out, customizable and has articles from multiple outlets for different perspectives. Keep up the great work. No need for another app. There is also a desktop web version that syncs with your account. Fantastic! 😊

UPDATING: I'm updating to 5 stars. Customer service was pretty quick to respond after I sent them an email, and my issue was resolved in probably less than an hour. Thank you Ground News staff for being so quick and helpful. It WAS 5 stars, but now the app just won't work. I can't sign in at all. I've followed the steps that the help articles provide. Uninstalled and reinstalled many times. I may have to cancel my subscription. Bummer this was one of my go to's for news 😕

Offers superior aggregation with excellent control of topics of interest. It is visually too busy. Spreading things out a bit would improve readability (at least on mobile screens). The "open in browser" control only works part-time, and you can't configure it to automatically open in your preferred browser. Many of the items appearing are redundant, and "old news" seems to hang around too long. A control to filter only content in a selective period of time would be a great feature.
