Feature suggestion: for the pantry, add a way to add how much you have of each item, and how much you have used when cooking. Also for the pantry add the ability to have expiration date so you can prioritize to use ingredients before they expire.
Google home integration does not work. It keeps saying "I can't help with that" when you ask to talk to Chefling after linking your account. Terrible
Less than useful due to its inability to add two word items to the shopping list. For example; diet coke is listed as two separate items.
When registering with Facebook account, there's no option to do so on Alexa app, so no way to link the account..
Can't see or update quantities of items in pantry. This app needs a lot of work to be useful for tracking pantry items. Deleting!
Not smart or intuitive. Uninstalling. Supposed to track your groceries. At the very least you should be able to select a recipe and it would adjust what is in your pantry. It doesn't, so you must adjust everything manually, everytime. Literally takes more time than it does to hand write out a list. Then add in all of the edit time for what Alexa doesn't understand. Lastly if you put in beef it knows that is meat. If you put in ground beef it thinks this is category other. Thus it does not register that you have beef. Which means it doesn't coordinate with the recipes. Plus makes it harder to shop off of this list.
Biggest update since Chefling was released. It contains hundreds of improvements, and here are a few of them.Brand new user interface of Cookbook and clearer logic to rank recipes based on the ingredients you already have.
Label star on items in shopping list.
Support new conversations on Alexa skill. "Remind Jack to buy milk and flowers"
Support Google Home.
Much smoother user experience. Many more to experience.
Many bug fixes as well.
