Like I love it, love the search features, love that I can use it across devices. Only thing I don't love is when I'm trying to read and I swipe to the next page it stays white for a good while. So I'll have to swipe back and forth until it loads. I've noticed it happens more often whenever the page contained a photo, a table, or a embedded figure.
Its lack of TTS is a bit ridiculous. A basic PDF reader can do that. Makes it less useful for students with disabilities (and in some cases, outright useless) as well. You certainly make enough revenue to include a simple feature.
This app keeps shutting itself down. I have a ton of reading to do this week and limited computer availability which is making this extremely frustrating. I am genuinely considering returning my book and buying from Amazon instead.
Worked just fine at first but now I keep getting a warning that says machine activation limit reached. It was really convenient to be able to read my books on my phone and made studying a lot easier. This is definitely making my classes unnecessarily difficult and I would have ordered the books somewhere else. I've always had good experiences using Chegg but this has changed my mind about future use.
I advise anyone whose been thinking about buying a book from chegg and using this app to go the other direction because this app freezes and messes up very badly. It worked fine at first but now I can't even open this app.
I have read some bad reviews on this app. I downloaded an E-Book for an upcoming class and it works fine. I love being able to study and read my book on the go. Without, physically having the book in my hand. Good job Chegg.
