Loved Chessgenius on Symbian as a kid. Back then I had no way to buy it. Finally I can have it on Android. The easy modes are great for learners. Plus it has a casual mode. You can lock the engine to only 1 second per move and it still plays at 2200+ ELO. That way you don't have to wait for it to make its move. But when it is your turn, you can take all the time you need. It has one fault: you can not open chess puzzles with it because it always immediately shows the solution.

Excellent training app for players of all ages and skill levels. I use the 'Hints' on the main menu and the take-back feature to explore new openings and improve my end game play.

Plays a decent game with rather basic options but does show line of play and you can set clocks. Searches 700,000 positions a second which is pretty fast. Plays more humanlike then some others.
