Soul Knight Prequel is a pixel-art action RPG featuring loot farming. Slash monsters to upgrade your power, or party up for treasure against the odds. Our newest ARPG continues to feature Soul Knight's familiar posse of chibi characters, while satiating the fans' hunger for more lore and quests!

The game's story begins prior to the events of Soul Knight. Help the magical land's heroes form a knighthood, embark on an epic quest, vanquish foes with every combination of weapons and spells, and ultimately save Mystraea from impending doom.

the gamplay is great. but this game has some issues. the progression feels bad. it doesn't show you how to craft and upgrade gear. getting your first set of map prime gear is very very slow because you have to use cards. then to get other prime gear it's difficult. after you start to be able to farm prime gear there is another wall of gear upgrades until you get a prime weapon. then there is another wall to be able to get to get the prime endgame gear. over all the progression slow and boring

This is an edited review. This game has improved immensely from when I first started playing. There's so much to do, and it's extremely free to play friendly. I originally docked it points for some gameplay concerns I had, but season 1 fixed it up quite a bit. I'm really giving this game a 4.5, however, because the server problems still aren't fixed completely. You'll often get a little "connection lost" error throughout your gameplay that you just have to skip past, but the pop-up is annoying

A fun game, but there are a ton pop up "connection error" messages that interfere with the game in solo mode. Haven't tried multiplayer, but if it's that bad in solo, I can't imagine how bad it would be connecting with others. Have to hit retry 3 times to get rid of the message, but it pops up enough during battles that it will disturb your play and possibly cause your char to die (has to me on more than one occasion).
