Nice app. Good amount of info for many places I like the app and I will continue to explore it, but I haven't used it in the field yet. You can keep track of where you've been and there is a brief description of the many places they describe (and not just the national parks). Two things I'd like to see are: planning a trip based on states or parks and not by geographical region, and changing the name resizing algorithm so that the names don't shrink so much when zooming in on the map. You can see the trail but can't read the name.
Only two problems App needs more than one GPS coordinates type. Neither of my GPS well accept these kinds of coordinates. Or may be street address. Trip planning should give best routes from site to site. At least put them in order. Other wise I enjoy it.
Improvements needed Please improve the main map so that it zooms larger. Right now it only zooms to a certain point where the street names are too small to read. Also, please add a quick access compass to the first page of icons.
Needs work Suggestions: google sync so I can use on multiple devices. Ability to use different maps. Pins are in odd places, allow for check-in within park, not at pin. Explain the point system better. Have lost all check-ins recently, tech support had no clue what I was talking about. Have more ideas, but this is a good start.
What is a National Park? I visited Cherokee Removal Memorial Park at Historic Blythe Ferry (TN) this past week as well as Stone's Battlefield. I wanted to see what other parks were in the area and I discovered Cherokee Removal Memorial Park at Historic Blythe Ferry is not on the app. I'm sure the signage was NPS signs. So what exactly is shown on the app map? Am I missing some setting that says SHOW ALL NPS PARKS?
Love it I love that you can mark the parks you have seen and mark the ones you wanted to see
