Upanisad Daily is a short message from the Upanisads - Kaivalyopanisad, Kathopanisad and Kenopanisad - derived from Pujya Gurudeva’s Jnana Yajnas. Just those few minutes with the great Master can uplift, enlighten, and guide your thoughts through the day.

This App is meant to inspire you to learn the Upanisads.

The Upanisads are the philosophical portion of the Vedas. Each Upanisad leads us to exploring the supremacy of Brahman, the Eternal Truth, and the path through which the knowledge of Brahman can be realized.

Strive to reach this great, grand state - this is the goal of life. If you reach there, it is worthwhile, if you do not reach there, you have missed the bus, says Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda.

The Upanisad Daily App will send you a push notification of each day’s message. You can also view the message for the day as the first video clip on the App’s home page. This page will give you the sequential access to all the video clips that build on each other according to the Upanisad.

The gift of learning the Upanishads from a Rishi conveniently brought to one's handset. Knowledge of English is more than enough to benefit immensely from this app --- every single lecture of Swamiji is in English. Knowledge of Sanskrit can deepen one's understanding when the verses are being read, but it is not necessary to know Sanskrit. Excellent job by the developers. Congratulations and my gratitude!

I've used Gita Daily for over a year now, and it's become a daily routine. I'm so happy Chinmaya Mission continued the tradition with the Upanishads.
