This one is better than the first game to me. The writing has been improved on, and you have more control over your character's actions and reactions. The world in itself is still interesting and the returning characters are more fleshed out, which is great--though I struggled to care for most of the new ones. The story takes darker, more adults turns which is appreciable. The writing is still a little awkward at times, but overall I did enjoy it.

good writing as in thr fjrst ameplay suffers same problems as the first one - there is an intelligible connection between the choice you are presented and the outcome you want maybe half the time. so playing became a qurstion of brute forcing my way through unclear decisions. rsther than tighten things up the designer or publisher chose to sell you a $1 in-app purchase to serve as an in-game walkthrough for unclear decisions. that takes all the fun out - need better writing around choices.

Zachary Sergi (the author) is a brilliant author in my opinion as he managed to do something few authors manage in these games, he made me genuinely care about the characters, making me hate almost every decision in this one because I really like almost all the characters and as I like to play heroic characters who focus more on helping people then fame (which I like to think is the person I am) I was particularly devastated by betrayals (SPOILER, I TRUSTED YOU WINTRY HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!), ultimatums and decisions in this story which I am thankful are both meaningful and are resolved in the sequel. As I said in my previous review I highly recommended this story to anyone who is even remotely interested in superheroes, amazing story's with heart wrenching decisions, or any who aren't sure where they stand.
