Best browser from Google, gotten faster and better. But 'Reader Mode' doesn't trigger effectively in some websites, so it would be better if it's included in options menu, so user can turn page into 'Reader mode' even without notification. And also 'Auto hide Navigation bar' should be available,
needs the option to disable auto-play content, or at least via mobile data - not everyone in the world is in America, or has infinite mobile data tariffs. The option to have the status bar either at the bottom or the top depending on preference isn't going to kill you to code either. It feels like a Microsoft product - makes loads of assumptions on a "one size fits all" basis and gives users hardly any control at all. Other than that it works fine.
App crashes often when Chrome Dev set as defaulted browser and viewing "News and Weather". URL bar at bottom of screen takes time to get used to. All in all. Lots of good and areas of improvement.
Biggest feature request is the ability to reorder tabs. ADD an option to remove the incognito status notification/icon. ADD an option to not open new tabs to the "suggested stories," section Really, it's a bad feature overall, just clogging the new tab page with stories I don't wanna see. The new tab page should revert to being the way it's been; simpler and without the useless extra content. Also ADD ability is to open a link in current tab. It can be a nuisance when links want to open in a new tab. Definitely DISLIKE the removal of the page/link title from long-press menu.. Also really think that long-press menu should default to the right side/link options instead of image options.
This app ssriously affected the performance of my Android LG G5 smartphone! I had to uninstall within 24 hours because my phone became mostly unresponsive, seriously lagging in function, etc.
I see no difference in speed. What chrome really needs is a ad blocker. So tired of all those ads slowing every web page down.
