Hey there ! Consistantly upgrades are working well for me ! The only thing that i would really like to see is a way to set up a payment goal on my visa or student line so i can visually see how much I have to pay each month or week. Being able to reach a goal is a great feeling and would be very motivating to manage my money better.
Suddenly eDeposit isn't working properly. I can no longer take pics of chqs on my own and the camera takes the pic before it's even focused. I'm having to take pic after pic because the app is rejecting my chqs. I called CIBC, was told to delete the app and d/l again so I did and still the same problem. I hope this gets fixed soon because I depend on eDeposit!
The latest update was supposed to improve the eDeposit experience, but it was a disaster! The app kept on automatically taking the photo itself when it detected the cheque was in place. In theory this would be great, but in reality, the app just kept taking blurry pictures. I pretty much only use the app for this feature so...this was frustrating to say the least. It was way better before. Please fix it.
Since August 29th, 2017 update, the programmers messed up with how you can log in. Before, I can use all 15-character length password. Now they limit to 12-character length password. This mess me up logging from my Mobile. Password can only be letters and numbers. Not SOX compliant. Should allow Letters, Numbers and special characters for greater complexity and greater security. It is a bank after all.
App was fine until the update. Same issue as everyone else. e-deposit is a disaster now. I guess CIBC thought that it's customers were too stupid to take a picture of a cheque on their own.
Its a great app easy to use and handy . I'd give it 5 stars but i cant even open the app anymore. I try to and immediately a popup comes up saying the process banking has stopped
