Just opened the box and turned it on. I was really excited to add this to my brand new humidor. I decided to connect it to my 2.4Ghz Wifi. The CO operated for about 20 seconds and then shut off and reboot. Its been in an endless boot cycle for 3 hours now and completely unresponsive to any button input. I will change my review if someone from product support reaches out, but thus far I've only gotten answering machines. This app crashed the firmware on the brand new unit.

This page is not monitored frequently. What you describe indicates the encryption type for the network was incorrectly selected/incompatible for the device to communicate. was difficult to connect at first with Wifi buy after a couple of tries it finally worked. once connected the app is useless! everytime I try to see my oasis it tells me there is a problem communicating with my device. It clearly sees and acknowledges my device in the list but it can't communicate with it. There is no way I would pay for a subscription to this. my trial is up in a few weeks and can't believe they would charge for an app that doesn't work or riddled with problems.

3.0 was a step into the dark ages! I've had a few of the smaller Excel 2.0 units and they worked great. Decided to upgrade one of them and get a Magna 3.0, what a mistake that was. The Wi-Fi is terrible. It will connect and give updates, then the next hour just stop. I tried unplugging and nothing; I've tried reset and redo setup and same result. Also that this device must use a dedicated 2.4ghz network is so arcaic, but I did that too without any success. Scour ebay for 2.0 devices!!!
