Not sure why all the low ratings. Perhaps bugs have been fixed recently. THE APP RUNS PERFECTLY ON MY LG G3. I just got it today, logged on, all my content there and purchased a new movie and watched it no problems. It even asks first to use cellular data for streaming. Only suggestion, I'd like direct access to my account profile and info to make changes etc.
This app stinks It rarely works with a tablet. I can only watch a movie with my Roku and regular TV. You would think that, if they want to make money the service would be much better. Then again go to a cineplex theatre and watch commercials for many minutes before you see what you paid for.
The app is ugly. I'm using a Nexus 6p and it is forced in portrait mode causing everything to looked stretched and ugly. Having choices is good being forced to use something restrictive is never going to win you points
I rented an HD movie on this app to watch on my Chromecast. The movie would stay in HD quality for 3-4 seconds at a time, then scale back to really poor quality, then medium quality for around 60 seconds until the quality dropped again. My internet speed is good enough to handle HD streaming and my Chromecast sits at half a meter from the router. These issues never happen on YouTube or Netflix. The only reason to rent movies on this app is to watch movies that are still on theaters but already available on the app and not anywhere else. But beware that you're going to have a terrible experience if you want to watch on the big screen TV.
Wouldn't let me sign in. When you click sign up it refers you to the web browser which sign in normally. Reset my password sends me to the web browser which is already logged in. Useless
Seems like the more Cineplex becomes richer their services and Rewards become shittier and we the consumers end up paying for it.
