Was getting the SSL error Just recently I started getting SSL error and app wouldn't open. After doing some research, I found out that it was suggested that webview needed to be updated. I am on Nougat and discovered that it is disabled with no way to turn on. Webview on Nougat was now part of Google Chrome. I saw that Chrome had an update available so I updated it. After doing this, my Citi Mobile app now started working again. So for those in Nougat, try updating Chrome and that might help getting it working again.
Quick way to see balances Great convenience from smart phone. All Citibank account balances in one windows. Caveat: it could be easier to enter "Other Amount" when you sign in to make a payment. Numeric keypad did not readily pop up for me to enter other amount without my trying a couple of times
I've tried to download the app to my phone with no luck. it keeps telling me it doesn't recognize me. so i call the number it gives me. the nice lady puts me on hold for more that 8 minutes while she waits to get me someone to help me. she finally comes back on the phone and says she has a rep to help me and have a happy new year! and then i get the beep, beep, beep. I'm disconnected. this really sucks!
Not reliable enough for a 5 I love the app and I'm sure developers worked really hard on it. The problem is, "once you build it they will come." I've come to rely on the app so much that when it doesn't work and I have to Uninstall and then reinstall its extremely aggravating. That being said, when it works its awesome, which is why I give it 4 stars.
Update Bad For a company this big to continue to throw out crap versions of an app shows how they value the user. They DON'T! The updates Dec 5, Nov. 29 to Nov 1, 2016 version is defective - same issue.. The update doesn't recognize your password, allows for resetting of the password, and then not recognize the updated password after the reset. The new password is recognized on the browser through the regular sign on. NEEDS the previous version!
Can't pay the bill Everytime I try to go to pay the bill an error message comes up saying that there is an issue. I have to go on their website just to pay the bill, but it keeps changing the view to mobile view. You think that Citi being a big bank will invest in their app more.
