Okay app. Still playing catch up with Chase's excellent mobile app, but it's been improving. One recent complaint is that the fingerprint sign on does not work. I'm using the most up to date version of the app, and was excited to see this feature finally implemented, however, every time you close it, when you start a new session you are prompted to type your password, and then greeted with "we now support fingerprint!", but it ultimately never saves. I'm on a Pixel running Android 7.1.2.
6-20-17 yet another update which still does not work with postal money orders. 4-24-17: another MANDATORY update, another app fail ! Now it can't find the amount on a Postal Money Order so it won't let me deposit it - again, just leave it alone ! USPS and 49 cents will allow me to deposit the only reliable way. help ! it doesn't install I wish you folks could just leave things alone - please fix it ! Luckily, still have the USPS for check deposits. update: 8-30-2016 can't install the latest version 7.7.0 because it now requires Android 4.4 - I'm still using an Android 4.0 phone I don't need FICO scores, don't need PDF statements just need to be able to install and use the app for depositing checks !
Worst app. During some urgent need, many services will not be available. App lags too much, very heavy ui interface. Frequently it shows error of temporary delay while opening app. Frequent updates makes the app reset all settings and have to login instead of snapshot of latest account details. Overall, many features are not convenient to use smoothly.
Citibank has come a long way with their current Android app. Deposits of checks is easy albeit below $1K. Viewing transactions in all accounts look good and the screens are similar to the Windows app. Good job developers!
Its a great app but sensetive. When scrolling down to see all my payments it jumps back to the home screen. It does this every time. I rarely ever use mobile deposits but when I do it doesn't deposit or it has me keep taking pictures and then exits me back to the home screen of the application.(LGG5)
Probably the worst app I've come across. When it works, it's a great app but that's the problem. It NEVER seems to work. I literally try to use this app every day but 99% of the time it says they're having "temporary" delays. It seems like these delays are rather permanent. Here's a suggestion, an update that will actually allow people to use the app.
• Choose direct deposit, paper check, and also statement credit for Citi® Double Cash customers
