WOW!! It's not often I bother to write up a review for an app, but I simply had to in this case. I'm the kind of person where once I find something that works I won't change easily. I already was using a TfL bus times app that I was very happy with, and I simply tried this one out on a journey into a part of London I was unfamiliar with. I simply LOVED the journey planner feature that literally guides you stage by stage throughout the journey. The app itself I found initiative to use with a clean and modern look. I'd definitely recommend installing this, in fact, I won't be using the app I used to use any more, it's that good!!...

Great app for getting from where you are to where you want to go. Totally would have been lost several times without the app. Up to date tube information and very specific most of the time as to which tube to get. I would highly recommend. Would suggest that the walking distance for each route is added to the search page and also add suggested points of interest near location to search and this app would be perfect

You may think that it's not worth installing the app since you've got Google maps on your phone, however I used to use this app when I was living in London and it was way much more accurate and easy to read than Google maps. I am going to use it for my weekend in Berlin too. On the other hand it doesn't work well in Italian cities, in Milan I would rather use Google maps and in Rome too.

This app is amazing. Not only can you see departures for all transport modes on here. But you can plan journeys and it gives you the fastest journeys and the ones with less stairs. And in addition it saves time. Also it means you don't need other apps clogging up the phone. Just one amaizng app and everything you need. Citymapper is brilliant and every update makes this an unbeatable transport app. Well done the developers. It's no wonder this phone got the Editors Choice on Google Play.

Useful and surprisingly good map. Detailed description of your route like the path to the station and waiting time to the next bus or train are included. What surprise me is the information of minibus in HONG KONG are included which are excellent! If the app developer can add new features would be much appreciated like suggesting some sight seeing spots to traveller as they are new and unfamiliar with the new location.

Great app! Since the upgrade I have a small orange bar at the bottom of my screen once I have started with a journey, saying 'To improve your location accuracy ease tap here' which won't go away unless my location is on. I don't always want to travel with my location on. This orange bar covers the process of my journey which I am not able to see - which is quite important.

This App is invaluable for travellers. We have used it in London, Paris and Lyon. So easy to find our way. We didn't have mobile data so saved our maps and used our GPS once out of data range. The transport timetables were excellent most of the time adjusting for traffic delays when needed

In short, a really useful app to have, particularly when visiting a new city. The stop listings for trains are very handy when you are unsure of which train you need. The app itself is quick with no unnecessary features. The interface is very streamlined and my only criticism is that it isn't available in my current home city.

I have used this tool twice now. Once for my London trip and just now again for my New York trip. This tool is a life saver! I can safely say this tool made my trips possible, handling all of my transportation needs. It behaved as if it had lived in these cities it's whole "life". I love this app.

Umm, this was just plain confusing. Was in London and tried it out real quick before we went out to eat the first night. Yea, not first time user friendly. I'm not from a place where public transportation is an everyday thing, so maybe that's why I was confused. Just went back to Google Maps, much more user friendly.

I find the search results confusing when planning a trip that requires transfers. The first part of the trip is fine but I can never work out the second part of the trip due to the multiple sub options within each search result, also doesn't display platform numbers. Will have to switch to using dodgy websites instead until the Ul is improved.

Usually love this app but recently it's been giving ridiculous advice on timings. Like telling me to catch the train in 15 mins time, when I'm standing on the platform. Also you have to be careful in London that it has got the correct address, even when it seems obvious to you.

Citymapper has gotten a ton better. Was disappointed some time ago and stopped using it but reinstalled just to see how it had improved. Devs have done a great job. Easy access to favorites and commutes. Sleek intuitive interface.

Pretty solid app majority of the time except some routes where you have to exit the station and reenter at another station has the wrong fare. It should be $5.50 instead of $2.75, not everyone has an unlimited. (NYC)

It gets better with every update. I even prefer it over Transit. Also, I absolutely love the "best section" feature available in Berlin. I'm missing it in Cologne. Moreover, I miss the feature to scroll a timeline of matching transports (select a route with the app Öffi and you will understand what I am talking about).

10/10 amazing app. Kudos to the developers. Spent 5 days in Barcelona , 1st day without the app we were really struggling with the metro. Day 2 we downloaded Citymapper and solved everything. So easy to use, so thorough in its explanations. Literally nothing missing from this app. Perfect!!

It will get you where you want to go. It might not give you the quickest, or the cheapest, or the most convenient route. But you will get home. Probably worth installing for when you're drunk and don't know where you are

This is the best travel and journey planning app by far - for London, at least. I have not tried the other cities. The countdown timers for buses are almost always accurate and I always get more accurate estimates for journey duration and ETA from this app than any other source

Hands down the best app for traveling around NYC. The only problem I have is when the subway has weekend changes because of construction, the suggested routes do not reflect the changes well.

Use citymapper so much to get around London and it's great. I just wish I could change more. There's just a bit too much on the main screen and I'd like to be able to remove some sections
