Lansing Connect is a real time, free, civic engagement platform that allows the public to conveniently communicate non-emergency civic issues directly to city government from their smart devices. Download the Lansing Connect app to report community issues or problems; you can even submit photos and videos. Ratings and reviews

After the latest updates, some including me can no longer attach photos to reports (camera access is allowed), local reports use to be in chronological order are now just all over the place, location and description sometimes changes after submitting. A development point that would be nice is the ability to edit submissions after posting them. Uses GPS to set issue address,which always ends up wrong even after manually entering the correct address

On the one hand I'm confident requests are making it to the correct City depts. Often the City responds quickly. But the app. sucks. Updates on the progress of a request are not very helpful. Often a request is marked as completed when no work has been done. They have a feedback follow up that always rejects whatever you type into the text portion.

A non-emergency gun issue we reported here was closed with no resolution. It is obvious whoever closed this Ticket did not even bother to read our initial report. Other problems we have reported here have never been responded to at all. A feedback survey was sent to my email, but when I attempted to enter a rating it said "sorry the service request you are trying to view is private". So - poor outcomes, a one-star rating, but the people running the system don't really want to hear that...
