It's Okay This app is for someone who has basic knowledge of botany. It uses a dichotomous key structure to get you to the answer. -- The biggest issue is the small number of species and seems to include only a small part of the US. And the CalPoly links to descriptions are old resulting in page not found. Could be a really good app (or multiple apps) for regional cities. At the very least a description of what cities were used as a reference for creating this app or any about/setting menu option.
Botany degree required.. . not really, but it couldn't hurt. This app could be more user friendly. Perhaps, if the trees were categorized by observational descriptions (ie. leaf shape, leaves with... parallel veins, flowers, seeds, etc.) Also, if you could filter results by geographical location that would be a really helpful feature to someone like me who can't get enough random knowledge. Great photos and well done including the glossary.
Retarded I was expecting take a picture find the tree but nooo some dumb app that doesn't do anything, not cool
