Be careful - READ THIS! I'd give 4 stars if it would auto-capitalize the beginning of a sentence or paragraph. Has some cool features though, like scrolling widgets, multiple widgets, resizable widgets. For Droid BIONIC, has a bug: When inserting new lines, existing lines don't move down, and when removing embedded lines, existing lines don't move up. Close note & reopen for lines to look right. IMPORTANT: Booting to Safe Mode DELETES ALL NOTES from all screens! They've gotta fix that! Moto Droid MAXX, KitKat 4.4.4.
Just what I need, one problem though It works great! I didn't want any notes with cloud-based functions that are hard to edit on the fly. This app implements simplicity and performance to make making a simple note simple again. The problem is on a rare occasion if Android uses its "safe mode" it causes data from this app's notes to vanish. Luckily my notes aren't mission critical. A simple backup function would be great :)
I have had this app for a couple years now on my samsung galaxy 4 and I have stored important info among other things on it. Recently I got the newer Samsung Galaxy 6 and the A T&T associate deleted it off my screen. I still have the widget and I installed the widget on my new phone. I love it because it scrolls and you can just keep adding info. But I need the info on the sticky note. Is there any way to retrieve that and for future reference can this info be backed up?
Almost Perfect There is no better notes app if you ask me, but I really want the options to change note color, text color and opacity. I would quickly shell out $10 for that version of this app. Also when you long tap and get that resize option, would be cool to see a share option (inc. share to Dropbox).
Perfect. Can you fork this app into another app? I agree that this pretty much perfect and that adding features would kind of eff it up. So can you fork it and create a sort of "non lite" version? The only feature I would like in a "non lite" version would be auto save the notepad to like, maybe like, an app, or something. So that way, the text within the note would be saved if there's ever an issue with the widget. perfect though really.
Love this app since my first android phone. Today I installed it on Honor 7 and I can't see the menu. I tapped on text, below text, basically everywhere - still nothing. I used to change background to full transparency and now it's unavailable. What have I done wrong?
Update to use up-to-date themes on newer devices
Rename sticky note widget from "A sticky note" to "Sticky note"
Made widgets scrollable!!
NOTE: Small behavior change for Ice Cream Sandwich & Honeycomb users: in order to edit a sticky note widget you will need to click on the TEXT of the note. Clicking on the blank space below the note text will no longer invoke the editor.
Enabled lock screen sticky notes for devices running Jelly Bean 4.2 and up!
