Sony Xperia Iheartradio app no longer works on Sony Xperia phones. Had my phone for a couple of years with this app and didn't have an issue until recently. The issue is the artist and podcasts stations no longer play. You can only listen to local radio. I contacted the company and I was informed that my phone was no longer compatible with this app. They are no longer working on any bugs for this issue. No point in having a mobile app to listen to the radio.
Turns on at all hours Love the access to all kinds of stations but keep getting phantom radio stations turning on at all hours day and night. During meetings and wakes me up in the middle of the night. Tried turning every access off and it made no difference. I am deleting the app as soon as I finish this rating.
No Google Login Support Uh, I can't use it, because it doesn't support Google logins, despite the regular app supporting it. I'm not creating an account just to use Auto. Get it together guys!
Screws your data plan Everytime you start your car weather you want to use I Heart or not it connection starts playing. You don't even know it's connected its just using your data. Cannot turn off auto connect.
Driving is a must with this app! I used to be scared and terrified of driving until I found this app. This app is so good looking, I take screenshots and print them out, frame it, and tell co workers it is my family. Graphics and tunes and driving! I have experienced spiritual enlightenment as I pressed play to listen to my iHeart stations. If you don't think this is the best app to grace your phone, no offense but maybe something must be wrong with you O:-). OMG I need to drive cross country and use this app right NOW!
This. is. awful! WTH?! Where do I begin? (1) Why does everyone equate Auto Mode with Landscape? Portrait works best for me. Don't force it on me. (2) No Google sign on?! Now all my preferences from iHeart Radio are USELESS in this app. (3) No tie-in with the existing app?! Why do I have to sign in again, when iHeart Radio is already signed in? (4) Can't work unless something is in the headset port or bluetooth. So, to set it up, I have to plug in some headphones?! (5) The UI from hell, especially disastrous when driving... (5a) I'm immediately presented with no search feature. I can't get out of station suggestion hell. I can only Scan, Scan, Scan, Scan... (5b) No immediate thumbs up/down button. I have to tap twice. (5c) Oops, I tapped "+" on a station I hate. I couldn't figure out that tapping "+" again removes it, until I accidentally added/removed another station. Huh?! "+" means "-"? To remove a station, I have to start playing, then tap "+"? o_O (5d) When I Scan, my pull-down menu now only goes to scanned stations. It took some thought and attention to figure out that "<-" means switch tabs. OK, sorry if I'm boring you. I'll stop now.
