I used to love this app, but there was an update sometime in the last 6 months that made it so that you can't personalize your runs at all. It used to ask at the end of each run how the difficulty was, and then you could choose to keep the next one the same, a little easier, or move on to the next level. Now it starts out tougher with no option to move up or down in difficulty. For a beginner this was a must. Was hoping to use that feature again after a long break but it's no longer available.

Very helpful app; instructions are clear and easy to follow. I do wish the voice was a bit deeper/louder. When I listen to music the music cuts out to allow the instruction to be heard. I did notice that the GPS/map, distance and calories are all incorrect. I'm assuming that when the screen is off it does not track but it is not practical to hold my phone to keep the screen on. I appreciate the option for motivation as well; I could use more. It would be nice to have interaction with friends.

Honestly, buy it. Yes, it's not free (to see past week 2 you have to pay, like, $4), but it's worth it. I *hate* running, but during Quarantine I didn't know what else to do. This app gave me structure and a plan. I think it starts much higher than "couch" - I had to repeat each workout 2 or 3 times at the beginning - but it pushes you just enough that you don't quite break. I like that it does it by time, not distance, too, so "bad runners" like me can still succeed in the beginning.
