I really like using this app. I like handling the transactions manually instead of linking my bank and it works great. The only issue I have is that sometimes when entering a transaction the app hangs up displaying a buffering circle. 12/3/23 just upgraded to a Pixel 8 and the app won't even run. If they get this fixed I will update my review. 4/1 review update the app is running like a champ on my S23, it's behaving better than ever. Thanks

The new version is very disappointing and not usable. The UI lags and is difficult to use. It takes 5 seconds to launch the app, 2 seconds for each operation, roughly half a minute to finish adding one transaction. The "Work" category icon cannot be displayed properly when adding a transaction. Hey, developer! Existing users are upset and have abandoned the app; then what kind of new users will download the app when they see an average 2.9 stars rating? Please bring back the old version!

In the beginning versions of Spendee I loved it, worked well with very few issues. Now, i find it had to accurately track my overall balance solely from this app. The most annoying thing is that if you set up recurring transactions, your total balance is automatically deducted from these transactions at the beginning of the month- so you always have less money reflected in your account that what is reality.
