App worked ok when there was no other way to open a tab at a particular location. Unfortunately in addition to my venue bill Clipp charged me $1 when I opened my account which they claimed they would refund. They did not refund it and after I enquired about it and sent multiple emails to them they still have not refunded it 6 months later. $1 doesn't really make a difference but I hate it when these faceless companies don't deliver what they promise and then just ignore you when they are called to account.
Used to be great but now the flat $1.50 charge sucks. Will just stick to using my card and pay wave... Unless I'm with a group that I'm paying for very rarely do I spend enough to qualify for a discount so spruiking people on average save $48 must apply to some other demographic... Yeah I know you can split bills but honestly how many clipp users do this?... My mates can't be arsed.... Sorry but I feel your decision to introduce the charge will cost you users.
I love this app and the Clipp team! This app is helping me to achieve my cashless dream. The app is intuitive, the specials are great and the team behind the service appear to be switched on and responsive. Ciara in Support helped me out and really helped to make me an advocate for them too. Overall, I believe this is one of the best service finds I've had in the last few years. 10 stars if I could.
This app used to be good. Now they just send you spam notifications, with no way to turn them off.
