CloneBoard is a new and fun app! You can draw in your device (tablet, cellphone, etc.) and watch the results live in any modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
CloneBoard is designed to work with WiFi. First, you need to open the app (make sure WiFi is enabled) and then run to your PC/Mac to see what you are currently drawing. The URL to go is in the title of the CloneBoard application: the device's IP plus the port (http://ip:8080).
FEATURES • Live results in a web browser • Select the color of the brush • Select the size of the brush • Save the current draw as an image
DEVICES CloneBoard should work in most Android devices. It was tested in lowend devices also.
This is the ad supported version, if you like the app consider buying the full-version.

Very simple app to use your smartphone as a writing pad. I have no problem at all while trying to use and connect this app as my writing pad. IP address being chopped off can be worked around by merely checking your own IP address via an app like Wifi manager or Settings>WiFi>Advanced and your IP is right there for you as the port is always fixed at 8080. So you should have no problem at all as this is the simplest app of its kind. Thank you very much dev for creating this wonderful app even without installing any server app on my PC/laptop ^_^ Please consider adding the line to the browser to make it more note-like or paper-like.
IP Address Not Fully visible! The IP Address in the title bar is not fully visible on my galaxy note I can't see the full address the rest is represented as ..... so I can't connect please fix this asap.
Great free app, best of its kind. This app has a lot of good things to it, though I feel much better about using the free version for now. It is nice that the url is fully displayed in the tablet version, which is the device I primarily wanted this for, however the phone version does not display that as well. I think there are some things that this could improve on, such as making a way to send the url code to email or such so that it can be easily accessed by computer, making a shortcut "eraser" button (I know for now that we can write with white, but that takes a lot of navigation to set up and then switch out of), as well as a quick undo the last stroke key (this would actually be REALLY nice if you could add this). All in all it is a great free software, and make enough changes, and I may even re-buy the other version. I give it a 5, though it would probably warrant more like a 4 or 4.5, because nothing comes close to this software that I've seen.
Simple fix for cut-off URL line? Would like to try this out. Installed the Lite version on my Samsung Note but like others have observed, the full URL does not get displayed so the user can't really give it a try in a desktop browser. I'm wondering if it's just because you added the word 'Lite' to the URL title bar and by default, the system cuts off the full address? What if you edited your developer code so that the URL bar reads "CB Lite" instead of "CloneBoard Lite"? Could a fix for this problem be that simple? Anyhow, please let me know if you ever get that fixed.
Great app! Works in small screens Great and simple Android app. At first I thought that because of my device's little screen (Samsung Galaxy Y Pro), it's functionality would be halved, but it worked as it should. All the features (in lite version) worked fine also. It was very cool to see in real time in a big screen the drawing I made in my phone! It could be used for games like Pictionary, where one could draw in its phone and access the drawing from a Smart TV, LCD connected to a computer, or a notebook!
