The VPN functionality is pretty good. Reasonable speeds when connected to a decent WiFi connection. However, over 4G it's super slow, half the apps and websites don't load content, as traffic gets blocked. Probably the most annoying thing about the app is the trusted network feature. It will pause when on the trusted network, but only the first time you add the network to the list. After that, you have to flip a coin, because ~50% of the time, it turns on when connected to your trusted networks.

Four stars because there are still some kinks that need to be worked out such as disconnecting, not working, etc. I'll start putting a screen shot of the logs with a bug report and when it gets better I'll raise to four star. Anywho, when it does work, it works well and delivers on its promise. So, four stars for innovation and usefulness. Further, it's an intuitive, easy-to-understand interface. For suggestions: Pause/stop & resume button notification and a host list for custom domains.

This is an excellent solution for those of us who don't have Android Pie. It does exactly what it needs to do without BS. I would love to have the option to add a quick toggle to the Android notification panel, or maybe a widget. Some comments about other reviews: The key icon - That's a feature in Android itself, so there really isn't anything the app developer could do about that. Personally, I like that it shows up so that I know I'm connected. Speeds - You probably won't see a difference in download speeds, so running a speed test won't tell you much of anything. However, websites should load noticeability faster when connected through this app. This might make more sense if you feel like reading about how DNS works, but basically, this helps your device connect to sites almost instantly.
