Great game John. Thanks for the timely updates and all the hard work you've put into this app.
Needs a brief tutorial Otherwise, awesome game!!!
Unrealistic Hex based similarity to other wargames great. Promotions unrealistic as they should be instead seasoned, trained, veteran, elite. Your equipment would dissapear after some use - which should be reflected by supplies/ammo. Pontoons should not disappear after use as engineers would reuse the equip in real life. Manpower should be reflected as recruitment is a major war activity. These fantasy promotions seriously detracts. It has a potential framework for grognards but it still needs work.
Very happy I enjoyed this game very much. Simple enough to play on your spare time, complex enough to keep you thinking.
Addictive but frustrating Some really nice features like fatigue and a competent AI, but the lack of ZOCs and curious rules around territorial control make it tactically unsatisfying. The game is all about penetrating ever porous enemy lines to surround them while avoiding being surrounded yourself. Lack of info about combat odds is exasperating. Addictive but not the wargame system I am looking for.
Incredible Strategy game. The best I have played. Highly wired in dept controls keep you gripped round for round in one of histories greatest possible rewrites. For the true arm chair generals.
