SAT Vocab Master is a vocabulary app made to help you study for the SAT/ACT/GRE tests, or simply to enhance your vocabulary. There are currently 4971 words in this app (2381 nouns, 1533 adjectives, 1003 verbs, and 54 adverbs). The words were taken from freevocabulary.com, an excellent educational resource. Also included are 40 common prefixes, their meanings, and example usage.
There are two types of quizzes in SAT Vocab Master: multiple choice quiz and flash card quiz. Both allow you to create filters for the quiz, such as only adverbs, only words that start with a certain letter, or only the words you have previously marked for review. You can mark words for review and see all the ones you have marked by going to the All Words list and checking the "Review words only" checkbox.
The newest feature, as of v2.1.2 is the ability to view past multiple choice quizzes taken. Completed quizzes are automatically saved to the device and can be viewed by clicking the "More Options" tile on the homepage, then selecting "View Quiz History". You will be able to see the time you took the quiz, how many questions there were and how many you answered correctly, and your answer / the correct answer for each question. Please refer to the updated screenshots for better understanding.
SAT Vocab Master was recently deemed educationally valuable by an independent group of educators and was invited to join the Google Play for Education pilot program. Because of this, I will regularly update the app and add new features that are requested, so please leave a review or email me if you want to see something in a future version.

Developing quality apps like this requires months of effort and dedication. To keep the development going and to recover cost, this app uses ads for monetization. An ad-free Pro version of SAT Vocab Master is currently being made and will be in the Google Play store by mid-December. Before that happens, a small random sample of people using this current app will be invited to beta test the Pro version for free! Stay tuned for more information, or email email@example.com for the chance to be an early access beta tester.

Contains 3 mediums for studying: the learning sessions, the word list and flash cards. The learning sessions are where the core gameplay lies. The learning sessions provide you with a list of words to study in that session and they test you progressively. You will receive the words with their definitions and example sentences. Then you will be asked to match the meaning of the given word, then be given the meaning of the word and you will be prompted to select the word, then a sentence will be given and you will be required to fill in the blank by selecting the proper word (just like in the SAT or GRE!) and you may be required to spell the word, when given its meaning. Be careful as these phases are timed! The words you have completed will come up regularly after some time for you to review them and not forget them. Once you reach a high enough streak of correct answers, or you attain a high performance with a word, that word will be "mastered". Mastered words will not appear as frequent as other words for review. The sessions end by a matching game of all words studied in the session.
In the word list you can see the list of words available in your app. The words are grouped alphabetically for easy access. You can select a word to see the details for that word. If you long-click a word you can see the options you have for that word such as: the history of that word (how many times you have studied it, your current performance), or you can choose to set the word as "mastered" or "known". "Known" words will never come up in learning sessions, unless you "prioritize" them. "Prioritization" allows you to choose the words that you want to study in the next sessions! By pressing the menu button on your device and selecting "Multiple Words", you can select and handle many words at once. You can also deprioritize words or change their orders as well after you have prioritized them!
The flash cards allow you to study words one by one. You can study words that have already appeared in the learning sessions or all words.

SAT vocabulary testing is assessed in several sections of this pre-college exam, although none of sections fall under the actual heading of 'vocabulary'. The College Board SAT, which was first introduced in the U.S. in 1901, has undergone name, grading and category changes several times in the past one hundred plus years.
SAT vocabulary proficiency comes into play in two sections that make up the SAT exam, critical reading and writing. Adequate reading comprehension depends quite a bit on the reader's ability to determine the meaning of unfamiliar words from the context in which they're found.
The designers of the test know that if a student is going to do well in college that they must have a reasonably good command of English vocabulary. Otherwise, they will be handicapped when it comes to reading through the various textbooks and communicating their thoughts and ideas fluidly.
It's important for high school students planning to take the SAT test to start building their vocabulary early on, as this isn't something you can do overnight. One of the best ways to do this is to read, read, and read. Read fiction, non-fiction, newspapers, magazines, online, etc. When you run across words you don't know either look them up immediately or jot them down and look them up later. Spend some time on this EVERY DAY. Make it a habit.

My thanks for all the help from Bilal Hasan and Abbas Eghlimi.
1. Please add feature to allow resuming session.
-> No. It's a design decision. You are supposed to work on an entire session in one go without distraction.
2. I see mastered words again...
-> Mastered words will still reappear in rare occasions. They might happen in batch.
3. I suddenly get all new words regardless of the set ratio
-> Old words will not reappear immediately. They need a while to show up again. The duration increases over time if you do well on them.
4. I suddenly get all old words regardless of the set ratio.
-> You have been trying to cram too much in a short period of time.
In summary, the app takes care of old words/new words for you. The principle is few repetition over a long, increasing periods of time is more effective than lots of frequent ones. I add some options other than the default ones due to excessive whining from multiple people. Use them at your own risks. Basically, if you're trying to cram a crazy number of words in a short period of time, you're looking for something else. Please don't ask for a "fix".
