Good, But Could Be The Best! Now there might already be a feature for this, I just haven't found it yet. But it would be nice if this app would run a very small icon, on the top-left of the screen. So we can see how much data we are using in realtime. Much like the battery apps that show in realtime how much juice is left in your phones battery. This can easily be addressed, so I'm not going to take any stars away. Great app!
Confusing!!! The descriptions of functions in the settings is VERY confusing. Example: the Firewall thing. What exactly am I doing if I "block" an app? What am I doing if I "trust" an app? I'll play with it for a couple days and see what it does, but I already know that my CM apps drain LOTS of battery. I just want to see what other apps might be bleeding the battery dry as well. Will adjust review in a week.
VPN setting is slow and uses a lot of battery. It's annoying having to open an app that I've forbidden to use background data and the little pop up comes up asking to allow. I have to wait till it goes away before I can use my app. It would be better to have an option to allow data only for when I open the app (foreground data) while keeping background data disabled. It would be even better to have an option to not allow an app to use foreground or background data without asking at all.
Always wrong Traffic display is always wrong.. My Wifi speed is limited to 118 KB/s and this app always shows more than 200 KB/s... Used to get it right before like 2 months ago until some update broke it... Also when I manually change my monthly usage it reverts to the android counter after a few days
It forced me to make a VPN. Then it locked me out of my phone. Even though the phone was on my display remained dark and would not come out of sleep mode. I hade to remove the battery for 15 seconds, replace the battery and restart the phone. After putting up with this for 2 days I uninstalled it.
Hackers! Read and make sure the apps you download DO NOT shut off your firewall. They just want you to shut off your firewall for what? The firewall protects your phone from malware. they even talk about downloading apps off the market and some of them are infected with malware. but yet they want you to shut off your firewall so they can go through every app on your phone that uses data connection. people use some apps to shop online so if you think about it. You are giving them legal permission to phish your information. Also not legally but a high risk for identity theft.Readeverythin
