About this app

The God Minute is a Catholic prayer app to help you think about and grow closer to God in your life.

Our "Daily Prayer" is led by a small group of priests, nuns and lay people. Soft music, sacred scripture and a thoughtful reflection are weaved into a 10 minute, daily prayer called The God Minute. It’s then uploaded for you to access and pray along with us on your own time. Listen with your coffee in the morning, while driving to work or taking a walk. See how easy and beautiful prayer can be!

Finally, we invite you to watch our video content and utilize the resources in "The Pantry" to enter even more deeply into prayer and fellowship with The God Minute community.

I love starting my day with The God Minute. It is so fulfilling 💓 and it makes me happy to pray with my sister and brothers around the world. The reflections give me insight and peace of mind to hear and learn the word of God. More than that is I get a chance to rejoice in the word of God with others. Although I can't physically touch the reflectors, I can see them I love and feel so greatful to share in the love 💕 and peaceful God. Finding the God Minute has enriched my life.

Hi, I love The God Minute! I’ve been having trouble downloading episodes for offline listening on my Moto G Play (2024) with Android 14. The app says to “Go to Settings” to allow storage access, but there’s no option for “Files and media” permission. It seems the app isn’t requesting storage access on newer Android versions, so offline playback doesn’t work. Please update the app to support Android 13/14 storage permissions. Thank you for keeping this beautiful app going!

I listened to The God Minute daily for a year & 1/2 & absolutely loved it! It is so beautiful, soothing & inspirational too. I found that it was a perfect way to end my day as I drifted off to sleep. I listened in the dark, while I laid my head on my pillow & the voices, the stories, the prayers & music seemed so close, so intimate, so comforting & almost esoteric that it was like I was transported to a different dimension! I felt so at ease with those involved in no time, like I had known them
