PupilCheck is an educational and research tool for photographing the eye and measuring the pupil. It is designed for students, educators and research groups who study pupil size, shape and symmetry.
WHAT IT MEASURES
• Pupil-to-iris ratio: the size of the pupil relative to the iris
• Pupil shape: roundness, ellipse, and flattened or protruding margins by clock position
• Pupil centering: how far the pupil sits from the center of the iris
• Left and right eye comparison, including the size difference between them
• Comparison with age reference ranges
HOW IT WORKS
• Capture with your phone camera or a USB iriscope or microscope, or import an existing photo
• An image check confirms each photo shows an eye before anything is measured
• Classical image analysis is combined with an on-device machine-learning model, and every result carries a confidence score
REPORTS AND RECORDS
• Export results as PDF, text or JSON
• Add your own observation notes to each session
• Session history is stored on your device
