I was excited to try out the app on my visit to Jack in the Box. I walk in, order my food, get my cup, and go over to the Freestyle machine. Oops! First I have to establish a WiFi connection. Fumbling with my food I try to do that, agreeing to the terms of service... Oops! An error. Shut that all down, and try again. Meanwhile, people behind me want to get their drinks, so I step off to the side, into the way of people walking away from the drink dispenser. Fumble again, while juggling my food... looks like a connection. Re-launch the Freestyle app. Error. Try it again. Food's getting cold, and I'm getting in everybody's way. Finally I just gave up. So tell me... Why couldn't the machine use Bluetooth? Why do I have to connect to the Internet to interact with the machine that's right in front of me? Meanwhile, I've been trying out some home automation modules that use Bluetooth. Those are things that I'd like to be able to control remotely over the Internet, but they use Bluetooth so I have to be right next to them. But this Coke machine that I need to be right next to wants me to use the Internet instead of Bluetooth. It's like I've fallen into opposite world!
Reload After the latest update it went to permanent maintenance mode. Had Uninstaller and reinstall to get working . Now works fine
I don't ever get to use it because every time I try to connect to the machine it is always under maintenance
