Unusable If I try to connect without wifi all I get is a crash message. If I'm connected to wifi then all I get is "Error connecting to server" Fix the android version of this. IPhone has no problems

Three reasons why you should NOT use CrashPlan 1. The software to keep track of back ups are finicky and often slow when backing up or downloading 2. You could have 2 tera worth of data backed up and if you do not extend your subscription within about a week they will delete ALL of your data with no way of getting it back 3. Because of the download speed, the fastest way to get your data is have them send you a hard drive to "borrow" at the same price it would cost to buy yourself an external hard drive with MORE space and back you own files. There are many other reasons not to use CrashPlan, including customer service and their basic attitude of not caring about your data, and finally they "LOST" somehow a backup of mine and it was unrecoverable. Do NOT get crash plan. It is a rip off.

Crashes when not using wifi. It works great and I'd use it all the time. Sadly it crashes unless I'm connected to a wifi network. Somewhat defeats the purpose.

Works fine Previously wasn't working on my HTC one, but perhaps the service had problems the other day. Working fine now. Very useful to grab backed up files from phone whilst on the go. Perhaps could have more features, but does all I need it to do.

Very limited use Doesn't seem to show all my devices, and certainly does not reflect the real backup status of the one device it shows. Could be used to "restore" my laptop files to my phone, I guess, but I don't really need that. No reporting/alerts on backup status.

Crashes I guess CrashPlan pro lives up to its name because it keeps crashing on my Samsung Note 3 can't even launch the app without it crashing each time

Not very useful Would like to be able to start/stop the backup. Restoring a file to my phone is not at all helpful. Need control over the backup process.

Won't allow you to view app or upload... Directly from my android phone. I just signed up for trial & would like to be able to upload files directly from my phone but because I haven't downloaded it onto my computer yet it won't let me login! Umm that renders this app useless, utterly useless!!!

kind of pointless I expected the app to give me some control of my backup processes the way the Web dashboard does, but this only lets me restore files to my PHONE. Good backup service.

Not for Enterprise Version FYI this app doesn't work with the "Enterprise" version of CrashPlan. This app is only for the CrashPlan services where your files are backed up to their servers.

Can't restore file Not worth having on your phone if you can't use it to view deleted files, nor use it to restore the file on the computer/server. Can only download it to your phone.

Not as good as it first appears I started out liking this service because it's simple, unlimited and works. Then I discovered a few problems. 1) This app does not backup mobile data. 2) There is no sync folder . 3) I was dual booting my computer between Windows 8 and Windows 10, so I adopted the same computer in Windows 10... well it saw missing files and folders from Windows 10 so it immediately deleted them from the backup set AND the server without asking for confirmation. In moments my entire 1 TB backup was gone. I deleted Crashplan

Doesn't work on Nexus 5 This app crashes on the Nexus 5 during the logon process. Basic troubleshooting has failed, including reinstalling, clearing app cache, and googling for a solution.

Customer service is worthless Called for with a problem, they said it would take 24 to 48 hours for customer service to even respond. Still waiting 2 months later.
