Google Drive didn't work, which is all I care about. Also, Python syntax highlighting didn't kick in? A monospaced font wasn't used. And trying to sign up for an account in the app failed; I had to do that on their website. Seems super buggy. But I'll give them one two stars for their nice interface; maybe it will be good if you just edit txt files on Dropbox.
Getting better There's really only one big bug left. If you are working on a file and then switch the orientation of the phone or let the screen go into sleep mode it adds new line characters to the front of every line. This can be really annoying especially if you have a lot of lines of code to fix. Other than that it's a great app. Great compliment to the desktop app.
Gave it a shot, everything's broken, not even alpha state Random menus are broken (boundary box for menus not attached to anything, all contained elements thrown off). Halves of paragraphs just plain missing from help menus. The character count in the review won't let me list everything, so how about: this isn't even a pre-alpha product. For a "v5" I'm not impressed.
Works for me! Missing one key desired feature This works great on my device, love the interface too. Only thing is, I really want to use this to open up an ssh terminal like in the web app... that feature appears to be missing though.
Great start but a major bug stops me using it It's a brilliant app with exactly the keyboard I need. My only issue preventing me from using the app at all is that when coding on my phone, the tabs are converted from normal spaces to an encoded character that completely breaks the output. This is an issue that's been ongoing for a while and I can't use the app at all until it's fixed.
Great App! Just a little too cloud based The app lacks many features that are easily accessible through the site. For example: managing git repos, viewing information about connecting to DevBoxes (with JuiceSSH or a similar app), and setting default syntax coloring for certain filetypes. Besides these few shortcomings, however, this is the best code editor for Android I have seen.
