Weight Manager 101

the app is made up of:
1) 5 pages; to go to any page:
you swipe your finger on the screen to the left or right,
or you tap the light blue dot for the corresponding page

2) a sum-up strip at the screen top, for a snapshot of key info on your weight:
- weight change from any date of your choosing, to the latest
- weight stability
- does your weight go down more frequently than it goes up?

you can tap the labels or icons for more info

3) a drawer for more things to do: you tap the icon in the top left-hand corner


WEIGHT CHANGE PAGE
your weight change, so far:
- your weight change from the first date on which you logged your weight, to the latest
- and from the penultimate date to the latest

you tap the + button to enter your weight on the current date


FROM-TO, WEIGHT CHANGE PAGE
weight change from any date of your choosing, to the latest on which you logged your weight;
for example, on a certain date, you started a diet or physical activity regimen and you want to stay current on your weight loss from that date

you tap the pencil icon to set that start date


VARIABILITY PAGE
it tells you:
- the average weight
- whether your weight is stable
- how much your weight differs, on average, from the average weight
- the lower amount and higher amount, within which your weight stays, on average


UPS AND DOWNS PAGE
it tells you:
- whether your weight goes up more frequently than it goes down
- whether, on average, you gain more weight than the weight you lose
- your weight change in each quarter
- the quarterly distribution of the number of weight increases and decreases and the average weight gain and weight loss: around year end, that data allows you know whether there’s been any quarter very different from the others


WEIGHT HISTORY PAGE
all the weights you logged

- by looking at the icons on the right-hand of the page, you’ll know whether your weight goes up more frequently than it goes down, or remains often unchanged
- by looking at the percentages, you’ll know whether you gain more weight than the weight you lose
- the weight in red is the highest weight recorded
- the weight in green is the lowest weight recorded
- the percentage in orange represents a change in weight greater than 5 percent from the previous date
- you can tap and hold on any line on the weight list, to see your weight change from that date to the latest

icons below the weight list, for:
- the highest and lowest weight
- big weight changes
- icons for sharing your weight history


NOTIFICATION TO LOG WEIGHT
- the app can remind you to log your weight after any number of days of your choosing (it works only if you install the app’s home widget)


WEIGHT CHANGE ALERT
- the app can alert you when your weight changes by more than any amount of your choosing, from the latest weight you logged so far


HOME WIDGET
- the latest weight you logged
- the next date the app will remind you to log your weight

tapping on the widget, starts the app
