It just works Why can't other apps be as simple and effective as this one? It really takes the pain out of file management from a Mac to an Android Phone. One tip though, restart your phone after install and before I am hope the developers are going to find a way around the annoying Kitkat restriction on copying from a Mac to an external SD card.
Great but hopefully gets better I have had intermittent connection problems but nothing severe. Still hunting down minor issues. One detail change might be nice... Get rid of the horrible bg... makes it much to hard to red the switch state of various settings--basic black would better than that ... but tank a for the work so far and stick with it.
Easy to use.. just a bit laggy It was a little difficult to figure out how to access my external sd card on my OS X Mavericks MBP but managed to get it working. Overall it's very straightforward and easy to use, unfortunately quite laggy when trying to access my camera/photo folder (with a few thousand images). Maybe my wifi is to blame? ..nah.
THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED Great program, worked better then the AFT. Also people are saying you can't access your external SD card. Just hold down and create a new share. Works great.
This doesn't work for me On my mid 2012 Mac with El capitan 10.11, I get an Error saying "there was a problem connecting to the server (IP address)" . This version of the server you are trying to connect is not supported. Please contact your system administrator to resolve the problem) Upon resolution, I'll take down this comment immediately.
Good app - some confusing aspects This is a great app, very easy to setup and use. I had some difficulty setting it up on my work network, but on my home wireless worked great. The one area of major confusion I had was that when I clicked on "SD card" in Finder, I wasn't really seeing everything that was on my SD card. That might be a quirk of the Samsung Galaxy S4, but I had to install a file viewer app on my phone to see what was going on. There is "emulated" storage that I was seeing on my mac via Droid NAS, but I wasn't really seeing the actual SD card.
OS X Mavericks workaround:
Press Cmd+K in Finder and enter IP address AND share:
