My partner for years! This app was a great find for me, as I enjoy off-road tracks. Very stable and lots of options. The only issue I noticed is that it doesn't recognize my external sd card (option is greyed out). Is there a fix?
Problems with offline maps I bought the Pro version because of the map download capability, but this just doesn't seem to work for me. I select and download the area I want, but the maps don't seem to be available when I'm offline. Eg selected Ord Survey maps, selected area in UK lake district for download ( download appears to work) but the maps are not there when offline. Also there doesn't seem to be a way of managing map storage to use the SD card. I think I have wasted my money.
I am in China and this works better than all the others I have tried. First thing that could be improved is that there are no English labels at all yet other apps had this. Secondly the direction marker is always wrong by more than 90 degrees although the direction of travel is accurate. When it doesn't have a detailed map why does it let you zoom in and then just show you a gray screen? And also I removed the zoom buttons in options but they keep coming back.
Good navigator The Maverick GPS is a great app. It uses very low amounts of battery. It's nice for when you want to go out and get lost. This app will get you back to the start. It tracks every yard you move and every foot you climb very accurately. It is missing a few trails, here and there though.
Still doesn't work on high-resolution screen It has been my beloved application until I upgraded my telephone to Lg G3 a year ago. On its high-resolution screen I see nothing: details are too small. I don't use Maverick anymore. There are a lot of applications which doen't have this problem. I have purchased Alpinequest instead. Resolve this issue and I will return.
Not downloading maps S6 edge plus My once favourite mapping navigation system is no longer of any use on my galaxy S6 edge plus, basically it only part downloads the maps, so I have tiles missing, which is of no use whatsoever when attempting to navigate, I have played around with the settings for days but unfortunately to no avail. I hope they fix this as I used to love this app.. I uninstalled then reinstalled and it let me load the maps, so I think the problem is that once the cache is full then no more maps can be loaded.
- Support for Android M.
- Fixed Hike and Bike Map.
- Removed Yandex Maps because of licensing issues.
OS Explorer maps fix.
New tiles downloader. You can "paint" areas to download with one finger or select a rectangle block using multi-touch.
