great for off line a year ago I saved aerial view of hunting land and use it to record tracks . I learn something every time I use it, Best results for recording tracks are in the winter, the high canopy can hide the sats when leaves are out. Then turn off auto-rotate and walk. I also loaded some free road maps. I suggest FOLLOW the instructions instead of posting a complaint . Today I'm looking instruction on how to print gpx, I think I'll find it, but would not complain if I fail Nex7 v1 refurb
Cannot close app Once invoked, app is always in pull-down menu of running apps with no way to exit without rebooting. Re- Android 2.3. Other apps offer exit option.
Seems great but.... I'm on nexus 7 and it can only find my location if I'm connected to WiFi,,,,am I missing something?
Could do with map rotation.. Would be amazing if you could add map rotation based on compass mode! Otherwise really clean and nice to use. Also there appears to be a bug when zooming from 19 to 25 which can only be done with pinch zoom but does not actually make a difference on the map.
(Fixed) Great GPS app except for an issue With the new update it does not flicker anymore . Old: The maps flicker for some odd reason. Other than that, nice app.
Would be good if bugs are fixed I have found a number of serious bugs in this program. If these get fixed, I would rate this excellent. 1) When using a custom map file (sqlitedb) for NOAA charts, and the file is relocated on a memory card folder(not phones internal memory map folder), the file gets deleted off the card during zoom in/out. (Deleted, not just corrupted!) 2) When starting a new track after stopping a track, the program uses the prior tracks data for distance and speed and adds/averages the new track with these values. I have also see the average speed start at 32 bit full scale value (2^31) when starting a new track after stopping one. Otherwise this is a very good program. I am hesitant to purchase the full version unless these bugs are fixed since these features are what I would need in the app.
