I tried several off road navigation apps on my azpen a1040 tablet. This app is one of the few that work without freezes or crashes. The interface is easy to use, records tracks with one tap and waypoints are easy to set. It is supposed to be able to allow loading of maps to an SDcard also, but I have not trried to do that yet. If that works this app will ba 5 star Plus.
Bit annoyed that the altitude is out by a factor of 10 and a bug with the distance reverting to 29.3 miles for a new track meant my average speed for a minute of walking was several, thousands of kph! Had to understand the uninstall and reinstall. Otherwise a generally good, easy to use free app
Excellent, I love it. One tiny thing though, the recently added feature of the abillity to write to external card doesn't work due to it not being able to find it. This is only app that can't find my external SD card.
Tried this whilst walking Leeds canal only found me on two occasions then stayed on last point opened today and still shows last point.
Why it's doesn't detect my external SD card? I install Maverick and after that move it to sd card and I want to keep cach also on sdcard but it doesn't detect it unfortunately.
