Training Program Manager encourages you to progress in your exercise routine, track how well you're doing and add challenge so you keep challenging yourself and always add that one extra rep to keep you falling into a rut and making exercising too easy.
With Training Program Manager you can plan your training programs by choosing from a predefined list of exercises or create your own exercises with specifically targeted muscle groups. When you have defined a first day's exercises, you can view from the training program data view which areas of your body you are targeting. This makes it easy to find the neglected muscles and find exercises to fill the gap. Also, it's easy to see from the visualization if your giving your muscles enough time to recover between trainging days, so you can use the information to rearrange days to allow for better recovery.
You can track your progress and success rate for each exercise, which makes it easier to know when it's time to add a rep or adjust the weight you're using.
Training Program Manager has a timer to measure the whole training session's length and another that resets whenever you mark an exercise completed to let you know how long you have been resting.
When you have trained your six weeks or so and it's time to change the training program, you can just use the menu option to begin a new training program. You can name your training programs and then use the Training Program Data functionality to switch between existing training programs more easily. The exercise history will still remain through all training programs, so whatever your progress was in bench presses in the old program will still be visible in the new one.
